Evolution Research Group (ERG) is a neuroscience-focused clinical development company conducting Phase I–IV trials across the U.S. and beyond.

The Unit Clinician supports trial conduct by dispensing investigational drugs, collecting samples, performing venipuncture and ECGs, labeling and processing specimens, and maintaining thorough subject documentation under GCP guidelines. Ideal candidates are licensed practical nurses with at least one year of clinical experience, CPR certification, and

Qualifications

• Graduate or completion of approved accredited school of nursing.
• Valid LPN license in the state of practice; maintain current license.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience.
• CPR Certification required; ACLS preferred for LPN.
• Phlebotomy certification (national) preferred.
• Knowledge of GCP and ICH guidelines.
• Ability to communicate with providers, co-workers, and others in a collaborative and courteous manner.
• Knowledgeable in medical terminology to communicate with physician office and staff.

Responsibilities

• Dispense investigational products and routine medications while subjects are housed on the unit as dictated by orders.
• Perform protocol procedures including vital signs, blood collection and processing, ECGs, and point-of-care lab tests.
• Prepare specimen tubes, labels, centrifuge operations, storage and shipping of lab specimens.
• Ensure proper disposal of biological specimens.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Study, learn and comply with ERG SOPs and applicable policies.
• Role may expand to meet evolving organizational needs.
