Moffitt Research Institute in Tampa, FL is recruiting a CTLC Research Sampling Coordinator I for the Clinical Trials Laboratory Core. This full-time, weekday role supports sample processing, packaging for shipment, and data management while traveling between campus sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years laboratory experience required.
• Associate's Degree in Biological Science with 1 year laboratory experience required (OR) Bachelor's degree with no experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules incoming core service requests.
• Prepares protocol specific materials for next day usage.
• Processes routine liquid preparations and supports more complex prep under supervision.
• Prepares shipments of biological samples for external labs and vendors.
• Collects, organizes and files protocol data weekly.
• Maintains laboratory equipment and performs instrument standardization and freezer maintenance.
• Acts as a resource to Clinical Trials Office when needed.
• Maintains QA program and stays current with biosafety and IATA shipping training.
