Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL is seeking a CTLC Research Sampling Coordinator I to support and perform clinical research sample processing within the Clinical Trials Laboratory Core. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday from 10:30am to 7:00pm and may require travel between campuses.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong time management. Responsibilities include scheduling requests, preparing materials, processing routine liquid

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED with 3 years laboratory experience required.
Associate's Degree with 1 year laboratory experience or Bachelor's with no experience required.
IATA Hazardous Material Shipment Certification obtainable after employment start.

Responsibilities

Schedules incoming core service requests.
Prepares protocol specific, visit specific, collection materials and delivers for next day usage to location customers.
Processes routine liquid preparations and may support more complex ones with supervision.
Prepares shipments of biological samples for external central labs and other vendors.
Collects, organizes and files protocol specific data weekly.
Maintains laboratory equipment in clean working order and performs standardization.
