Job summary

Evolution Research Group (ERG) in Miami is seeking a Unit Clinician to assist with conduct of clinical trials, including dispensing investigational drugs, collecting samples, performing venipuncture and ECGs, labeling tubes, processing specimens, and documenting in subject charts under doctor orders.

You will work under Good Clinical Practices, maintain a safe working environment, and follow ERG SOPs while contributing to high-quality trial execution and participant safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate / completion of approved accredited school of nursing or paramedic program.
• RN/LPN/Paramedic/EMT license in the state of practice; maintain current license.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience.
• CPR certification; ACLS for EMT and preferred for RN.
• Phlebotomy certification (national) preferred.
• Understand regulatory requirements and GCP/ICH guidelines.
• Strong communication and teamwork with providers, coworkers, and others.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and collect investigational products, routine medications, and PRN medications while subjects are housed on the site observation unit.
• Perform research protocol procedures including vital signs, blood collection, ECGs, and point-of-care lab tests.
• Perform basic lab procedures: tube preparation, labeling, centrifugation, sample storage/shipping, and specimen accountability.
• Dispose of biological specimens appropriately.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Follow ERG site SOPs and applicable policies and regulations; adapt to evolving needs of the organization.
• Role may expand to meet ERG objectives.
