Job summary

Evolution Research Group (ERG) is seeking a Unit Clinician to assist with the conduct of clinical trials, including dispensing investigational drugs, collecting biological samples, venipuncture, ECGs, tube labeling, and chart documentation. This role follows Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and site SOPs.

The position requires nursing or paramedic education, RN/LPN/Paramedic/EMT licensure, and at least 1 year of clinical experience; CPR is required, ACLS for EMT and preferred for RN; phlebotomy

Qualifications

• Graduate/complete approved accredited school of nursing or paramedic program.
• Valid RN/LPN/Paramedic/EMT license in state of practice; maintain current license.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience.
• CPR Certification required; ACLS required for EMT and preferred for RN.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and collect investigational products and routine meds as subjects are housed on-site.
• Perform research protocol procedures including vital signs, blood collection, ECGs, and point-of-care tests.
• Perform basic lab procedures: specimen tubes, labeling, centrifugation, storage and shipping of samples; track specimens.
• Ensure proper disposal of biological specimens.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Follow ERG site SOPs and applicable policies/regulations; adapt as needed.
• Role may expand to support evolving ERG objectives.
