Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a Pre-Award OnCore Financial Analyst to join the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, focusing on budgets for clinical trials and collaboration with pre-award and post-award teams.

You will translate business requirements into OnCore configurations, review contracts, amendments, and billing terms, and provide end-user support while ensuring accurate financials across EPIC and OnCore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, or related business area; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Experience implementing or maintaining financial components of clinical trials in OnCore or a comparable clinical research management system.
• Experience interpreting clinical trial budgets, payment terms, billing coverage analyses, clinical trial agreements, amendments, or related study documentation.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into OnCore implementations and optimizations.
• Interpret complex clinical trial budgets, payment terms, and billing coverage analyses.
• Ensure budgeting and terms are captured in Clinical Trial Agreements and amendments.
• Identify, resolve, or communicate financial build, billing, and system issues in OnCore or Epic.
• Provide end-user support and training for clinical research financial systems.
