Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Nursing, NJ license, and 5+ years in clinical research with 3+ years of supervisory experience. Strong regulatory knowledge and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Current New Jersey nursing license required.
• Minimum five years of clinical research experience.
• At least three years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of clinical trial operations and regulatory requirements (21 CFR, 45 CFR 46, HIPAA).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a study nurse for cardiac and cardiovascular clinical trials, including interventional and observational studies.
• Screen, enroll, consent, and educate study participants per protocol.
• Perform study procedures (ECGs, vitals, blood draws, medication administration).
• Monitor and report adverse events and SAEs in collaboration with investigators.
• Ensure source documentation in EMR and research systems.
• Lead and collaborate with PIs, cardiologists, and coordinators.
• Provide day-to-day supervision and onboarding for trial staff.
• Coordinate staffing, coverage, and workload for active studies.
