Job summary

Viking Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Sr./Clinical Trials Manager to lead and oversee clinical trials across phases, ensuring adherence to protocols, GCP, and regulatory requirements.

You will manage CROs, vendors, and sites, coordinate budgets, and drive trials from initiation to close-out. The role requires strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills, with 6–9 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 6+ years clinical trial experience for CTM or 9+ years for Sr. CTM.
• Experience managing trials from Phase 1–3 and coordinating CROs, vendors, and sites.
• Strong knowledge of FDA/ICH regulations and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manages trial operations plans, timelines, quality deliverables, and budgets across trials.
• Supports initiation through close-out of trials and CRO/vendor activities.
• Ensures enrollment and data collection align with timelines; identifies and mitigates risks.
• Represents Clinical Operations in cross-functional initiatives and liaises with sites and CROs.
• Prepares trial documentation, protocols, SAPs, and monitoring plans; coordinates site visits.
