Job summary

Viking Therapeutics, Inc. seeks a Sr./Clinical Trials Manager to lead trial operations from initiation through close-out, ensuring adherence to GCP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements. You will coordinate CROs, sites, budgets and timelines, and provide cross-functional leadership across Clinical Operations.

The role requires strong organization, communication and presentation skills, with extensive experience across Phase 1–3 trials, and a Bachelor’s degree plus 6+ years in the field.

Qualifications

• Experience managing clinical trials across phases (Ph1–Ph3).
• Strong knowledge of FDA/ICH/GCP CFR guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Experience negotiating vendor/site contracts and managing trial budgets.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Manages trial operational plan and CRO activities, including timelines and budgets.
• Supports all aspects of clinical trial management from initiation to close-out.
• Ensures enrollment and data collection align with timelines and objectives.
