Job summary

Eastside Research Associates is seeking an Electronic Data Capture Specialist to support clinical trials with real-time data entry and data integrity checks. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to handle high-paced workflows.

Experience in data entry and familiarity with EDC systems is strongly preferred; strong communication skills and teamwork are essential in this fast-growing medical research setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of data entry experience preferred.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of EDC systems preferred (Veeva Vault, Medrio, IBM, OpenClinica, Medidata RAVE).

Responsibilities

• Transcribes source data into EDC systems per protocol and standards.
• Verifies data integrity by comparing to source documents.
• Adheres to SOPs, GCP, and regulatory requirements in EDC activities.
• Answers queries within the EDC system promptly.
• Supports QC of patient files per ERA standards.
• Prepares and scans documents into EDC systems and ERA database.
• Assists clinical team with onsite monitoring visit preparations.
