The University of Iowa, through ICTS Research Coordinator Core, seeks a Financial Analyst to lead budget development, negotiation, and financial implementation for clinical trials. The role interfaces with investigators, departments, and sponsors to ensure accurate budgets, cost recovery, and compliance across the study lifecycle.

Responsibilities include reviewing protocols, coordinating cost assessments, and producing financial reports.

Competenze

• 1+ years accounting and/or financial experience.
• General knowledge of accounting practices.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and various databases.

Mansioni

• Review complex clinical trial protocols and budgets to identify procedures, costs, and sponsor obligations.
• Develop and negotiate clinical trial budgets and related pricing.
• Coordinate internal cost assessments with departments and service centers.
• Monitor expenditures and reconcile accounts across multiple trials.
• Collaborate with Research Billing Compliance and study teams to resolve billing issues.
