Job summary

UTMB Health in Galveston is seeking a Clinical Research Recruitment Coordinator to recruit patients for current and upcoming trials. You will thoroughly understand the Protocol and Inclusion/Exclusion criteria, determine the target population, and collaborate with the research team to craft an effective recruitment plan and execute it.

Travel about 75% of the time using a personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and 1 year related experience.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, human subjects research regulations, and GCP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Determine the specific patient population based on the study protocol and inclusion/exclusion criteria.
• Work with the research team to develop and execute the recruitment plan.
• Recruit patients for current and upcoming clinical trials.
• Prepare presentations of research studies in lay terms for stakeholders.
• Design and implement community engagement/research awareness activities.
• Collaborate with UTMB Marketing to create recruitment materials and improve ad visibility.
• Assist researchers with recruitment strategies including letters to physicians and social media.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, human subjects research regulations, and Good Clinical Practice guidelines.
