Job summary

Fortrea in Madison, WI is seeking a Patient Meal Server to interact with healthy volunteer participants and support dietary needs in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical research environment.

You will follow trial dietary requisitions, work with the dietician, place dietary orders, and help maintain inventory and meal costs while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

This is a full-time, office/clinic-based role in Madison offering benefits and opportunities to grow within a leading CRO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Food Service Certification preferred.
• Computer skills including data entry, word processing, and email.
• 1-2 years of related experience.
• Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of education.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to patients based on dietary restrictions from trials.
• Follow study dietary requisitions to create menus.
• Work with the dietician for nutritional guidance as needed.
• Place dietary orders with appropriate vendor.
• Coordinate the delivery of dietary supplies and maintain inventory.
• Maintain cost records for study meal cost reports.
• Coordinate dietary duties and schedules of the Dietary Assistant.
• Maintain soft drink inventory.
• Support corporate and departmental initiatives.
• All other duties as needed or assigned.
