Job summary

Metric Bio is seeking a Clinical Trial Manager to lead US cardiovascular studies within a fast-growing medtech environment. This hands-on CTM role focuses on study execution, site oversight, and CRO/CRA management across IDE and post-market programs.

The successful candidate will collaborate with Regulatory, R&D and Quality, travel to U.S. clinical sites, and drive milestones to deliver high-quality data within timelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of clinical research within medical devices.
• CTM or Senior/Lead CRA ready to own study execution.
• Experience with U.S. IDE studies preferred.
• Cardiovascular device experience in Structural Heart or Interventional Cardiology.
• Strong investigator/site relationships and CRO oversight.

Clinical Trial Manager - Cardiovascular MedTech

I'm hiring a Clinical Trial Manager to join a well-backed, growing medical device company developing innovative technology within Structural Heart. With expanding U.S. clinical activity and important studies progressing, this is an opportunity to become a key part of the organisation at an important stage of its development.

You'll become a key U.S. Clinical Operations representative, taking meaningful ownership of U.S. clinical programs and working directly with leading investigators and research teams. This is deliberately a hands-on CTM role: you'll drive study execution and key milestones while maintaining a strong presence at clinical sites and overseeing CROs, CRAs and other clinical partners.

The opportunity offers significantly more visibility and ownership than a traditional monitoring-focused position. You'll work closely across Clinical, Regulatory, R&D, Quality and the U.S. field team, directly contributing to the progression of innovative cardiovascular technology through U.S. IDE and post-market studies.

Key experience:

• 5+ years of clinical research experience specifically within medical devices.
• CTM experience or a strong Senior/Lead CRA ready to take broader ownership of study execution.
• Experience with U.S. IDE studies strongly preferred.
• Cardiovascular device experience, ideally within Structural Heart or Interventional Cardiology.
• Strong investigator/site relationships with experience overseeing CROs, CRAs and/or clinical vendors.
• Highly independent and hands-on, with the flexibility to travel frequently to U.S. clinical sites.
