Job summary

Vanderbilt Health in Nashville seeks a Clinical/Translational Research Coordinator II to join the CIBS Center’s TBI Hub. You will support multicenter studies, ensure protocol adherence, and collaborate with PIs and clinical teams to advance research from the hospital to long-term outcomes.

The role emphasizes detail, communication, and regulatory compliance, with on-site work Monday–Friday in daytime hours and occasional weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of relevant experience in clinical research.
• Completion of a Research 101 course within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and manage IRB applications in compliance with policies.
• Conduct study procedures: screening, recruitment, consent, assessments, specimens.
• Collect and enter data into case report forms ensuring accuracy.
• Maintain regulatory documents for GCP compliance.
• Monitor participant safety and report adverse events.
• Coordinate packaging/shipping of specimens per regulations.
• Participate in site visits, audits, and sponsor communications.
• Assist with budgets, invoicing, and billing compliance.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and training.
