Job summary

Trilogy Behavioral Healthcare in Skokie, IL, seeks a Clinical Field Training Specialist to advance evidence-based practices across programs. You will deliver staff education, field-based coaching, and CEU coordination, aligning with Trilogy’s Philosophy of Care and quality standards.

The role emphasizes on-site training three days a week, collaboration with the Clinical Training and Education Director, and development of training materials to meet organizational needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
• Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois preferred.
• Minimum five years’ experience in a healthcare, social services, or non-profit setting.
• At least one year experience providing consultation, supervision, continuing education and/or job skills training to other professionals in a clinical setting preferred.
• Valid Illinois Driver’s License with daily access to a vehicle.
• Ability to spend minimum 3 days per week on site, with availability for more on-site days as work duties require.
• Knowledge and understanding of HFS Medicaid rules 132, 140, 115, 2060 preferred
• Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• May be required to lift, carry, bend, reach, and stand with parcels up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate trainings for New Staff Orientation and clinical onboarding.
• Provide continuing education opportunities, consultation, and technical assistance on evidence-based practices and clinical techniques.
• Deliver group and individual training on clinical assessments and service documentation compliant with Medicaid rules.
• Design, update, and deliver training materials reflecting current standards and needs.
• Engage staff trainees using diverse instructional methods to maximize engagement.
• Collaborate with Clinical Training and Education Director to identify gaps and drive QA improvements.
• Coordinate external CEU offerings and speakers for events.
• Build professional relationships to promote learning culture across the organization.
• Represent Training Department professionally and communicate emerging issues timely.
