Job summary

Millennium Physician Group in Florida is seeking a Clinical Training & Development Specialist / Staff Development Coordinator to support onboarding, orientation, education, and quality improvement for our Home Health team. You will coordinate new orientee orientation with preceptors, monitor progress with DON/Clinical Management, and assist with documentation, compliance, and QA activities.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in developing and implementing Agency staff orientation.
  • Organizes and coordinates all preceptor staff with new orientee.
  • Communicates with DON/Clinical Management Team on orientee’s progression through orientation.
  • Participates in the Quality Assurance activities, as assigned.
  • Participates in Agency QAPI program.
  • Coordinates home visits for Agency to observe care being rendered, to assess the condition and use of equipment and supplies, and to receive reports of the patient/family satisfaction with care.
  • Performs other tasks assigned by the Administrative team.
  • Maintains confidentiality of clinical records.
  • Promotes and maintains an environment compliant with Federal, State and local regulatory agencies.

Job Description Summary

We are seeking a Clinical Training & Development Specialist / Staff Development Coordinator to support the onboarding, orientation, education, and quality improvement efforts of our Home Health team. In this role, you will help coordinate new employee orientation, partner with preceptors and clinical leadership to monitor orientee progress, and support staff education related to documentation, compliance, and quality standards. This position also plays an important role in quality assurance and QAPI activities, assisting with clinical record improvement initiatives, coordinating home visits to observe care delivery, and promoting a patient-centered environment that meets federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. How will you make an impact & Requirements

Assists in developing and implementing Agency staff orientation. Organizes and coordinates all preceptor staff with new orientee. Communicates with DON/Clinical Management Team on orientee’s progression through orientation. Participates in the Quality Assurance activities, as assigned. Participates in Agency QAPI program. Assists as directed in the implementation of approved recommendations and assesses the Agency’s success in correcting clinical record deficiencies. Coordinates home visits for Agency to observe care being rendered, to assess the condition and use of equipment and supplies, and to receive reports of the patient/family satisfaction with care. Performs other tasks assigned by the Administrative team. Ensures the confidentiality of clinical records. Promote and maintain an environment that is compliant with Federal, State and local regulatory agencies. Participates in development and implementation of a staff educational program, as needed, for Documentation and Quality Improvement. Works with administrative and supervisory personnel regarding home care visits to ensure high quality and proper follow-up care regarding patient needs. Participates with other health, civic, educational and professional groups as directed by the Administrative team. Complies with Agency dress code policy. Maintains efficient flow of Agency work by reporting to work at assigned or scheduled times; follows procedures for notification of absence or time off requests.

Compensation Range

$18.00 to $28.50 The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
