Job summary

Aspen Grove Behavioral Hospital is seeking a Clinical Therapist for weekend part-time coverage in Utah. The role focuses on delivering individual, group, and family therapy within adolescent, women's trauma, substance abuse, and adult mental health units.

Qualified candidates hold a Utah license (LCSW/CMHC/LFMT) and are able to work Saturdays and Sundays 9am–5pm. The position includes supervision, CEU credits, and opportunities across UHS locations.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapy required.
• Must have a valid/active clinical license in Utah. MUST BE FULLY LICENSED (LCSW, CMHC or LFMT).
• ABILITY TO WORK WEEKENDS (SAT & SUN from 9am - 5pm).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, time management, and crisis intervention.
• Keep current with continuing education requirements for Utah licensure.

Responsibilities

• Providing individual, group and family therapy
• Completing psychosocial assessments and other clinical assessments
• Developing effective treatment plans and working toward safe discharge planning (avg length of stay = approx. 6 - 10 days)
• Working with patients who have experienced past or current trauma, symptoms of anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation and substance use
• Providing strong family support and case management skills
