Job summary

Aspen Grove Behavioral Hospital is seeking a Clinical Therapist for weekend part-time coverage in Utah. The role supports adolescent, women’s trauma, substance use, and adult mental health units.

Responsibilities include individual, group and family therapy, psychosocial assessments, and discharge planning. Minimum requirements are a Master’s in a relevant field and a fully licensed Utah clinician (LCSW/CMHC/LFMT).

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in social work, counseling, or related field required.
• Must hold an active Utah clinical license (LCSW, CMHC or LFMT) and be fully licensed.
• Weekend availability required (Sat & Sun 9:00am–5:00pm).
• Excellent written and oral communication, time management and crisis intervention skills.
• Maintain current Utah licensure continuing education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group and family therapy.
• Complete psychosocial and other clinical assessments.
• Develop treatment plans and assist with discharge planning (average stay ~6–10 days).
• Work with patients experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation or substance use.
• Offer strong family support and case management.

Your goals and objectives include:

• Providing individual, group and family therapy
• Completing psychosocial assessments and other clinical assessments
• Developing effective treatment plans and working toward safe discharge planning (avg length of stay = approx. 6 - 10 days)
• Working with patients who have experienced past or current trauma, symptoms of anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation and substance use
• Providing strong family support and case management skills

Qualifications

Your Qualifications and Requirements will include:

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapy required
• Must have a valid/active clinical license in Utah. MUST BE FULLY LICENSED (LCSW, CMHC or LFMT)
• ABILITY TO WORK WEEKENDS (SAT & SUN from 9am - 5pm)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, time management, and crisis intervention.
• Keep current with continuing education requirements for Utah licensure.
