This position involves providing skilled intensive psychiatric treatment services to patients with mental illnesses, utilizing therapeutic techniques in recreational therapy modalities such as music, art, and dance/movement. The role requires developing and implementing therapy plans tailored to patients' needs, working as part of a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate will have at least six years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience totaling six years, along with appropriate certifications such as CTRS or Board Certification in related areas. Responsibilities include assessment, therapy planning, service implementation, documentation, and participating in meetings, training, and safety protocols.
Conditions include a full background check, valid driver’s license, shift flexibility, and compliance with vaccination requirements. The schedule typically runs Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with possible evening or weekend shifts.
