Job summary

The San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health seeks Licensed Clinical Therapist II to provide behavioral health services for justice-involved youth in Juvenile Justice Programs. Responsibilities include assessments, therapy, treatment planning, crisis response, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team within a detention setting.

Applicants must be licensed in California (LMFT/LCSW/LPCC) with post-licensure experience; bilingual skills earn additional compensation.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in California as LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC.
• One year of post-license direct service experience requested.
• Ability to work in a secure juvenile detention setting and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical assessments and provide individual and group therapy.
• Develop and monitor treatment plans with crisis response and suicide prevention support.
• Deliver trauma-informed, culturally responsive services in a secure facility.
• Collaborate with probation, medical staff, psychiatrists, and educators to support youth.
