Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or counseling is required.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• At least one year of experience providing clinical support services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to stay calm and exercise sound judgment in crisis situations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual therapy sessions for clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with measurable, realistic goals.
• Monitor and assess client progress; adjust plans as needed.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers to provide comprehensive care.
• Assist clients in developing social, communication, and life skills.
• Provide education to clients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment and management.
• Maintain accurate documentation of progress and plans.
• Attend team meetings and participate in case conferences.
