Job summary

Personal Growth Counseling Services seeks a Clinical Therapist to conduct face-to-face diagnostic assessments and deliver individual and group psychotherapy, along with case management to support sobriety, mental health, and overall wellbeing.

The role requires an active Ohio license, two years of behavioral health experience, and proficiency with DSM-5 and EHR documentation. This position involves community-based visits and adherence to professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work or related behavioral health field.
• Active Ohio license to practice (LSW/LISW/LISW-S/LPC/LPCC-S/PC/PCC/PCC-S).
• Two years or more experience in behavioral health or Substance Use Disorder populations.
• Knowledge of multiple clinical modalities and theories of human behavior.
• CPR certification within 90 days of starting.
• Valid Ohio/Michigan driver’s license with good driving record.
• Computer skills including Excel for reporting.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Impeccable integrity and professionalism.
• Analytical and solutions-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
• Active Ohio Medicaid number.

Responsibilities

• Proficient use of DSM-5 to diagnose adults, teens and children.
• Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy.
• Conduct client visits at office, schools, community sites, and private homes.
• Maintain complete clinical records.
• Meet productivity goals consistently.
• Manage caseload with regular file reviews for audit readiness.
• Utilize community resources to support sobriety and wellbeing.
• Enter documentation in EHR per policies.
• Uphold mission, vision and professional standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
