An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Clinical Therapist to join their Crisis Stabilization Unit. The Providence Center Clinical Therapist Per Diem will provide outpatient psychotherapy for the Crisis Stabilization Unit.
Duties and Responsibilities: include performing initial screening, intake, assessment, orientation, crisis intervention, counseling, case management, client education, referral, treatment planning, and consultation for clients in the program. Additional duties may be assigned.
Responsibilities also include conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments, applying knowledge of DSM IV psychiatric diagnoses, performing mental status examinations, assessing clinical emergencies such as suicidality and danger to others, collecting pertinent data from collateral sources while maintaining confidentiality, providing individual, group, and family therapy for mental health and substance abuse, maintaining confidentiality per policies and legal requirements, collaborating with other providers and agencies, record keeping according to standards, and offering mental health consultation to community agencies.
