Job summary

Protouch Staffing seeks a compassionate Clinical Therapist in Grand Rapids, MI. You'll provide individual, group, and family therapy for clients with mental health, substance use, and eating disorders, across residential, PHP, and IOP programs.

Licensure in Michigan and a Master’s degree are required, with DBT certification preferred. Join a collaborative behavioral health team focused on recovery, coping strategies, and client-centered care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or related field.
• Licensure with appropriate Michigan state certifications (LMHP/LPCC/Limited Psychologist).
• DBT certification is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience with mental health, substance use disorders, or eating disorders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and evaluate clients' behavioral health needs.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions.
• Facilitate therapeutic and educational groups to support client recovery.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, progress notes, treatment plan reviews, and discharge plans.
• Monitor client progress, safety, and overall well-being throughout treatment.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care for clients requiring additional medical or behavioral health services.
• Educate clients and families about treatment options, coping strategies, and recovery resources.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Complete clinical documentation within required timelines and maintain confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and weekend rotations as required.
• Support clients across residential, PHP, and IOP settings.
