Clinical Therapist, Mental Health & Substance Use Services

Salary:

  • Master’s degree (unlicensed): $53,444
  • Master’s degree with active clinical license: $56,918 (License differential applied for LPC, LCSW, LISW, or LSW)

What You’ll Do

Deliver High-Quality Clinical Care:

  • Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments, including diagnostic impressions and treatment recommendations.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered approaches.
  • Treat individuals with mental health diagnoses, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions.
  • Continuously assess client progress and adjust interventions to support measurable outcomes.

Manage a Meaningful Caseload:

  • Maintain an active caseload with a focus on consistent engagement, retention, and therapeutic alliance.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that align with clinical best practices, funder requirements, and program goals.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings to support progress, problem-solve barriers, and coordinate discharge planning.

Contribute to a Strong Clinical Team:

  • Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Provide clinical supervision, consultation, and support to non-licensed therapists and staff as required by licensure or program standards.
  • Engage in ongoing training, professional development, and quality improvement activities.
What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a human services–related field.
  • Active state clinical license preferred and strongly valued (LPC, LCSW, LISW, LSW), as required by the program.
  • Experience or strong interest in treating mental health conditions, substance use disorders, and co-occurring diagnoses.
  • Comfort using electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office software.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required clearances, including ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances.
