Job summary

Archstone Behavioral Health in Florida is seeking a Therapist for a full-time position. Licensed therapists or registered interns (MSW/MHC) are welcome to apply as the facility offers detox and continuum of care from detox to RES/PHP/IOP/OP.

The ideal candidate works well in high-energy settings, uses de-escalation and grounding skills, and collaborates effectively within an interdisciplinary team to support recovery and client success.

Qualifications

• Licensed (LCSW or LMHC) or registered interns (MSW or MHC) in substance abuse treatment.
• 1 year experience in Substance Abuse Counseling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients using standardized assessments to develop treatment plans.
• Provide group and individual counseling per client plan.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments as needed.
• Review client progress to determine need for continued services or discharge/transfer.
• Maintain clear, accurate clinical documentation in the EMR.
• Act as a member of the interdisciplinary team in the client’s best interests.
• Carry a caseload.

Our facility offers a full continuum of care in a beautiful campus setting. Patients begin their recovery journey in our medically supervised detox service before transitioning to lower levels of care (RES,PHP, IOP, OP).

Job Responsibilities

• Assessing clients using standardized or evidence-based assessment tools for clients in substance abuse treatment, collaboration with client to develop treatment plan
• Providing group and individual counseling specified in the client treatment plan
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments as needed
• Reviewing clients throughout their treatment experience according to ASAM, to determine the need for continued services or discharge/transfer
• Providing clear, accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR
• Actively participating as a member of the interdisciplinary team working in the best interests of the client
• Carry a caseload
