Job summary

United Vein & Vascular Centers Texas is seeking an entry-level Clinical Technologist to support patient flow and assist with a range of clinical tasks. After completing training (4-6 weeks), you’ll perform responsibilities independently in a fast-paced clinic.

The role emphasizes patient care, room readiness, sterile and non-sterile procedure support, documentation, inventory management, and strict HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Surgical Technician, or Scrub Technician in a patient care setting
• BLS certification within 60 days of hire (American Heart Association preferred)
• Preferred completion of an accredited MA or Surgical Technologist program
• Strong communication skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
• Dependable, punctual, and knowledgeable in medical terminology

Responsibilities

• Patient Care Support: Assist with patient rooming, verification, and vitals documentation. Use eCW to update patient status and maintain smooth patient flow.
• Procedure Support: Prepare exam rooms, support sterile and non-sterile procedures, assist in surgical procedures, and follow CDC and OSHA guidelines for safety and cleanliness.
• Documentation & Inventory: Document patient information, complete consent forms, manage inventory, and keep exam rooms stocked.
• Compliance & Confidentiality: Uphold all HIPAA standards, follow UVVC's Core Values and Standards of Conduct, and maintain patient confidentiality.
