Job summary

United Vein & Vascular Centers is seeking an entry-level Clinical Technologist to support patient flow and clinical tasks in a fast-paced clinic. After 4–6 weeks of training, you will perform responsibilities independently and grow your skills within UVVC's care environment.

The role emphasizes patient rooming, procedure support, and EMR documentation, with HIPAA compliance and strong team collaboration. BLS must be obtained within 60 days; English/Spanish bilingual ability is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Surgical Technician, or Scrub Technician in a patient care setting.
• BLS certification within 60 days of hire (American Heart Association preferred).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred.
• Completion of an accredited MA or Surgical Technologist program is preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is required/preferred as noted.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient rooming, verification, and vitals documentation.
• Update patient status in EMR (eCW) and maintain smooth patient flow.
• Prepare exam rooms, support sterile/non-sterile procedures, and assist in surgical procedures.
• Adhere to HIPAA, UVVC core values, and confidentiality standards.
