Job summary

United Vein & Vascular Centers is seeking an entry-level Clinical Technologist to support patient flow and perform clinical tasks in a fast-paced clinic. After training (4-6 weeks), you will independently handle responsibilities and grow your skills.

This role is ideal for MAs and PCTs aiming for advancement in a supportive environment. You will assist with patient rooming, vitals, and documentation, while maintaining strict confidentiality and following OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Surgical Technician, or Scrub Technician in a patient care setting.
• BLS certification within 60 days of hire (American Heart Association preferred).
• Preferred completion of an accredited MA or Surgical Technologist program.
• Strong communication skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Dependable, punctual, and knowledgeable in medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care Support: Assist with patient rooming, verification, and vitals documentation; update patient status in the EMR and maintain smooth patient flow.
• Procedure Support: Prepare exam rooms, support sterile and non-sterile procedures, assist in surgical procedures, and follow safety guidelines.
• Documentation & Inventory: Document patient information, complete consent forms, manage inventory, and keep exam rooms stocked.
• Compliance & Confidentiality: Uphold HIPAA standards and company values, maintaining patient confidentiality.
