Clinical Technician 1 – Progressive Care Unit at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital

We are seeking a dedicated and loyal Clinical Technician to join the Progressive Care Unit team in a full-time capacity at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provides direct patient care under supervision of a registered nurse, including:
• ADLs
• Blood draws
• IV insertion
• Catheter/Foley insertion
• Communicates effectively with team members, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout healthcare delivery.

Requirements:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication in English.
• Physical: Ability to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.
• Training: Six weeks of paid training, including virtual modules, classroom sessions (8AM-4:30PM), and on-unit training (schedule TBD).
• Experience: Healthcare experience preferred.
