Position Details

• Full-time Day Shift: 7AM - 7PM, rotating weekends and holidays
• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• Location: Progressive Care Unit, Inova Fair Oaks Hospital

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision, including ADLs, blood draws, IV insertion, catheter/Foley insertion
• Communicate effectively with team members, patients, and visitors
• Maintain professionalism and integrity

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
• Proficient in English communication
• Ability to lift at least 35 lbs
• Availability for six weeks of paid training (virtual modules, classroom sessions, on-unit training)
• Preferred: prior healthcare experience
