Job summary

Inova Health System's Alexandria Hospital is seeking a Clinical Technician 1 to join the ICU - General team. You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision, support daily unit operations, and communicate effectively with the care team.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and BLS certification; English communication skills; ability to lift 35 lbs; training will start with six weeks of paid training and rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Proficient verbal and written communication in English.
• Physical ability to lift at least 35 lbs.

This schedule for this role will be Full -Time | Days | 6:00AM – 6:30PM | Rotating days, weekends & holidays |

Clinical Technician 1 – Job Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurses.

Training

Must be available for six (6) non-consecutive weeks of paid training, consisting of:

• Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)
• Classroom-style sessions: 8AM – 4:30PM (6 shifts total)
• Virtual training modules.
• On-unit shifts

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
