Job summary

Inova Alexandria Hospital - ICU - General seeks a dedicated Clinical Technician 1 to join our team. The role is Full-Time, Nights from 6:00PM to 6:30AM, with rotating days, weekends and holidays, ensuring continuous patient care.

We provide structured training including virtual orientations, classroom sessions, and on-unit shifts. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and BLS certification (or within 90 days). Strong English communication required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: BLS from American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication in English.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under the direct supervision of registered nurses.
• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.
• May perform additional duties as assigned.

Clinical Technician 1 - Job Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurses.

Training

• Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)
• Classroom-style sessions: 8AM - 4:30PM (6 shifts total)
• Virtual training modules.
• On-unit shifts

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
