Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, AL seeks a Central Service team member to support the delivery of clinical patient care by handling orders, distribution, receipt and equipment used in Central Service.

Responsibilities include preparing specialty carts, respiratory wraps, traction equipment, and Orthotics/Prosthetics orders. HS Diploma or GED preferred, with GED within 12 months acceptable.

Qualifications

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with frequent task changes.
Excellent communications skills required.
Must be able to transport equipment throughout the hospital.

Job Summary

Central Service is part of the team of health care workers supporting the delivery of clinical patient care.

Provide quality care that improves the health of those we serve.

Orders, distributes, receives and all supplies and equipment used in Central Service.

Prepares specialty carts, respiratory wraps, traction equipment.

Orthotics / Prosthetics orders.

Education / Licensure / Certifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Will hire without if application agrees to obtain GED within the first twelve months of employment.

Addition Skills / Abilities

Must be able to work in fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly.

Excellent communications skills required.

Must be able to transport equipment throughout the hospital.
