Job summary

The START Clinical Team Leader position is based onsite at Allegheny County DHS and supported by Community Family Advocates. The role provides supervisory leadership to the START Clinical Coordinators and oversees routine clinical triage, partner relationships, and training coordination to sustain high-quality crisis prevention services.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology or human service field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing services to people with ID/A and behavioral health needs.
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Must be a certified START Coordinator or complete certification within 6–12 months of hire.
• Prior experience as a START Coordinator preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative supervision to START Clinical Coordinators and daily clinical triage support.
• Maintain relationships with community partners and system stakeholders.
• Coordinate training using clinicians and community experts.
• Lead/participate in triage meetings with START team and external partners.
• Monitor START service delivery quality and fidelity to the START model.
• Maintain and enter documentation in the START system (SIRS).
