Job summary

The Allegheny County Department of Human Services, working onsite at our partner agency Community Family Advocates, seeks a Clinical Team Leader for the START program. You will supervise Clinical Coordinators, provide daily triage support, and foster strong partnerships with system stakeholders.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in a related field, 2+ years of behavioral health work, 1+ year of supervision, and START Coordinator certification (or commitment to obtain within 6–12 months).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology or human service field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing services to people with ID/A and behavioral health needs.
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Must be a certified START Coordinator or able to complete certification within 6–12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative supervision to START Clinical Coordinators and daily clinical triage support.
• Maintain linkages and relationships with community partners.
• Coordinate training with psychologists, psychiatrists, and community specialists.
• Lead/participate in daily Triage meetings with START team and external partners.
• Monitor START service delivery and fidelity to the START model.
• Maintain required documentation in SIRS in a timely manner.
• Develop cross-systems crisis plans and intake/ assessments.
