Job summary

Mount Carmel Guild Behavioral Health System in Union City, NJ seeks a Full Time Clinical Team Leader for our Adult Residential program. The role requires NJ LSW licensure and a Master’s degree in a mental health field, with supervision of residential staff and clinical services.

You will coordinate assessments, CSPs, crisis response, therapy sessions, and staff training while ensuring accurate documentation and coordination with hospitals, day programs, and families.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a mental health related discipline.
• Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in NJ.
• NJ driver's license required.
• Three to five years of supervisory/residential experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates clinical services within the residential team and provides clinical supervision to residential staff and treatment services delivery and progress monitoring.
• Responsible for Intake Assessments, Biopsychosocials, and Treatment Plans (CSP).
• Provides crisis intervention and 24-hour on call coverage.
• Leads the development of Comprehensive Service Plans, assesses needs, and clinical interventions.
• Completes and monitors clinical progress notes and clinical documentation and reports.
• Conducts regular individual and group therapy and psycho-education sessions.
• Participates in case conferencing with day treatment providers, hospitals and family members as needed to assure continuity and consistency of services.
• Develops Residential Staff Training Curriculum, training materials and conducts and documents new staff and annual staff training in all Modules.
• Has oversight of the State referral process, BEDS online system and coordinates admissions and discharges.
• Coordinates resident's benefits/entitlements and assists Program Manager with resident related administrative tasks.
• Conducts monthly staff meetings and ongoing weekly staff clinical supervision and training.

Mount Carmel Guild Behavioral Health System, a CARF accredited division of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark, is a leading provider of mental health and addiction services in Northern New Jersey.

We are currently seeking aFull Time – Clinical Team Leaderfor our MCG Adult Residential program located in Union City, NJ.(Must have NJ License in Social Work – LSW - Schedule posted below.)

Our Residential Programs serve individuals who are referred primarily from the State and County Hospitals and who are ready for discharge into the community. MCG has had success in moving individuals along the continuum of care available, progressing from A+ group homes to less supervised levels.

Schedule for Clinical Team Leader:

• Tuesday and Thursday 12:00PM-6:00PM

Requirements for Clinical Team Leader:

• Master's degree in mental health related discipline
• LSW
• Valid NJ driver's license required

Three to five years of supervisory and residential experience is preferred but not required.
