Job summary

Mount Carmel Guild Behavioral Health System, a CARF-accredited division of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark, seeks a Clinical Team Leader to oversee Outpatient and Partial Care in Jersey City, NJ.

Ideal candidate holds a Master’s in a human services field with an LCSW or LCADC license, at least five years of mental health experience, and two years of supervisory experience. Strong leadership and bilingual (Spanish/English) abilities are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a human services field is required.
• Current LCSW or LCADC license is required.
• At least five years of experience in mental health services.
• At least two years of supervisory experience.
• Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Bilingual Spanish/English skills are preferred.
• LCSW licensure is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Outpatient and Partial Care programs, including staffing schedules, supply management, and program budgets.
• Supervise program staff and student interns while providing ongoing guidance, support, and performance oversight.
• Lead multidisciplinary team meetings with clinical staff, psychiatrists, and nursing professionals.
• Prepare and maintain program statistics, performance reports, and required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with CARF, DMHAS, Medicaid, and other applicable regulatory standards.
• Monitor program outcomes and ensure established performance targets are met.
• Develop community partnerships and coordinate services with other providers.
• Promote program services within the community and implement strategies to increase program enrollment and census.
• Support the continued development and expansion of Outpatient and Partial Care services.
• Provide direct clinical coverage as needed, including completing intakes and assessments, delivering crisis intervention, and managing a caseload.
