Position Details

FULL TIME MASTER'S-LEVEL Clinical Team Lead Behavioral / Mental Health Clinician - Charlotte, Michigan

Do you have a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology with limited licensure by the State of Michigan and two years of evidenced-based counseling experience with children and families, including Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Training? Our SUD Clinician provides person-centered clinical services to clients and families. They offer clinical leadership to case managers or recovery coaches, assisting in case assessment, treatment planning, quarterly reviews, and therapeutic services.

This growth-oriented position involves approximately 32 hours of clinical work and 8 hours of team leadership/clinical consultation. The role includes assisting therapists with treatment decisions, auditing case records monthly to ensure completeness, compliance with prescribed services, and adherence to accreditation standards. This position offers a salary of $52,000, commensurate with experience.

Provides supervision of multiple programs and staff delivering counseling services to children, families, and caregivers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, coordinate daily operations, participate in recruitment, and support staff development
  • Assist therapists with treatment decisions, audit case records for compliance and completeness
  • Monitor service delivery to meet client treatment needs
  • Oversee staff productivity, billing processes, and clinical documentation
  • Maintain data management systems and develop community partnerships
  • Offer clinical consultation and backup for clinicians

Job Qualifications

Education, Training, and Licensure/Certification

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology
  • Current limited licensure by the State of Michigan (full licensure preferred)
  • National Provider Identifier (NPI) registration preferred
  • CAQH registration preferred
  • Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy training preferred

Experience

  • Two years of counseling experience with children and families
  • Experience with evidence-based practices
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, current automobile registration, and proof of insurance
