Join our experienced Sleep Medicine team as a Clinical Team Assistant and play a vital role in supporting patient access to care. This position focuses on prior authorization and referral management, requiring close collaboration with providers, insurance companies, and external healthcare partners. The ideal candidate will have prior healthcare experience, strong organizational and multitasking skills, and the ability to effectively advocate for patients through the authorization process. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented individual who is eager to become part of a knowledgeable and supportive team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.

Summary:

The Clinical Team Assistant (CTA) is responsible for performing daily patient service functions to support the clinical team in the delivery of patient care. The Clinical Team Assistant functions under the license of a provider when performing clinical and other patient care responsibilities.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Student or graduate of an accredited vocational program, community college, or university in the field of health sciences that required clinical experience for advancement; or completion of an MA program that did not require a clinical externship; or completion of a healthcare vocational program with a patient facing component; or equivalent relevant clinical patient facing experience will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
2. License/Certifications: Current BLS certification within one month of hire required.
3. Experience: A minimum of three months patient facing clinical experience required.

The pay range for this position is $20.27to $24.36 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
