Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Clinical Team Assistant (CTA) for the Dermatology clinic in Rockport, Maine. You will support providers and clinical staff, assisting with daily clinical and patient service needs, under the supervision of a licensed provider.

This role focuses on smooth clinic operations and a welcoming patient experience. Qualified candidates will have a health sciences background with clinical exposure and a current BLS certification within one month of hire.

Qualifications

• Education: student or graduate of an accredited health sciences program with clinical experience, or MA program without clinical externship, or healthcare program with patient-facing component.
• License/Certifications: Current BLS certification within one month of hire.

Join our Dermatology team in Rockport, Maine, as a Clinical Team Assistant (CTA)! In this role, you\'ll support providers and clinical staff in delivering excellent patient care by assisting with daily clinical and patient service needs. Working under the direction and license of a provider, you\'ll help ensure smooth clinic operations while creating a positive, welcoming experience for patients.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Student or graduate of an accredited vocational program, community college, or university in the field of health sciences that required clinical experience for advancement; or completion of an MA program that did not require a clinical externship; or completion of a healthcare vocational program with a patient facing component; or equivalent relevant clinical patient facing experience will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
2. License/Certifications: Current BLS certification within one month of hire required.
3. Experience: A minimum of three months patient facing clinical experience required.

The pay range for this position is $20.27to $24.36 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
