Job summary

Interpath Laboratory, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Systems Specialist to support LIS and enterprise clinical applications, combining laboratory expertise with software know-how.

You will design, implement, and optimize configurations and interfaces to ensure quality outcomes and regulatory compliance. You will validate workflows, capture business needs, and analyze internal systems to optimize application utilization, collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendor reps.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• 2+ years of clinical laboratory experience.
• Knowledge of medical laboratory instrumentation operation and configuration.
• ASCP or AMT Certification as MLS or MLT preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of Interpath LIS experience preferred.
• 2+ years of DI Instrument Manager user experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain configurations in LIS and related enterprise clinical applications.
• Design, implement, and maintain interfaces in DI Instrument Manager and LIS.
• Design, implement, and maintain configurations on the laboratory automation line and QA applications.
• Validate, document, and perform workflow assessments and impact analyses.
• Capture business needs and analyze internal systems to optimize application utilization.
• Maintain documentation to ensure CAP-compliant regulations and laws.
• Prioritize tasks and coordinate with team and vendor representatives.
