Job summary

Interpath Laboratory, Inc is seeking a Clinical Systems Specialist to design, implement, and support LIS configurations and related enterprise clinical applications. The role blends medical laboratory expertise with software application know-how to optimize laboratory workflows.

You will work with cross-functional teams to assess needs, implement interfaces, and ensure compliant documentation while maintaining high reliability and performance of automated processes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• 2+ years of clinical laboratory experience.
• Knowledge of medical laboratory instrumentation operation and configuration.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain configurations in the LIS and related enterprise clinical laboratory applications while ensuring quality outcomes.
• Design, implement, and maintain instrument interfaces in DI Instrument Manager and LIS.
• Design, implement, and maintain configurations on the laboratory automation line and laboratory quality assurance applications.
• Validate, document, and perform workflow assessments and impact analysis.
• Capture business needs and analyze internal systems to determine requirements for optimal utilization of applications.
• Maintain documentation to ensure compliance with regulations and laws, including CAP standards.
• Communicate effectively with the team, including vendor representatives and end users.
