Job summary

Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky is seeking a Clinical Systems Liaison to lead selection, design, development and implementation of clinical systems. You will train staff and coordinate activities across physicians, nurses and support staff.

The role requires 3+ years of clinical acute care experience, leadership duties, and EHR experience (Meditech a plus). You will collaborate with IT and clinical teams to optimize workflows and ensure smooth adoption of new technology.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years clinical acute care/ambulatory experience and three (3) years of progressive leadership responsibilities in hospital departments preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio preferred. Certification in Nursing Informatics preferred. Must be currently certified in CPR (and recertified bi-annually).
• Minimum of 3 years of EHR experience required; experience with Meditech a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between Informatics and IT and clinical team members to understand clinical systems capabilities and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of Firelands Health IT and interoperability issues.
• Collaborate with IT leadership, Clinical Leadership, Medical Staff to implement training and ongoing support.
• Coordinate needs analysis, vendor selection, implementation and optimization of technology changes.
• Create training materials and guides to increase use and satisfaction of EHR and other applications.
