Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support in PATH Clinic, take histories and vital signs.
• Perform point of care testing including venipuncture and collect specimens.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain equipment and supplies.
• Perform medical charting, recordkeeping, and clerical tasks as needed.
• Assist with scheduling, phone handling, and faxing medical records.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA; adhere to UAB policies and Code of Conduct.
• Support continuity of care and reporting to Lead Nurse Practitioner and Clinic Manager.
• Handle routine tasks to support the IPCP model at PATH Clinic.
• Complete required training for point-of-care testing and quality controls.
