Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians and other health care providers with routine examinations and procedures, as well as procurement of equipment and supplies.
• Reviews patient care documentation for significant changes and reports to a nurse or physician.
• Performs clerical tasks: organize workload, greet visitors, transcribe physician orders, maintain medical records.
• Provide clinical support: transport patients, supplies, specimens, and assist in orientation of new employees/students.
• Provide direct personal care: bathing, dressing, feeding, ambulation; record vitals and measurements.
• Reinforce patient teaching and distribute education materials to patients.
