This is a 36 hours per week position, working rotating shifts, days and nights (7am - 7:30pm, 7pm - 7:30am), with weekend and holiday rotation. This position qualifies for an extensive benefit package including PTO hours, which are accrued based on the number of worked hours.
Our Intermediate Neurosciences & ENT Unit (INEU) team consists of professionals who approach their work with positivity, compassion, and a strong sense of teamwork. Our unit has 18 beds available to serve the varying needs of our patient population, including 4 beds designed for Epilepsy monitoring. Our unit cares for patients with ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, brain tumors, epilepsy, spine injury, neuromuscular illness, neurodegenerative illness, neurotrauma, and central nervous system infections. Our ENT patients are predominately present with head and neck malignancies and require a variety of surgical interventions involving the head, mouth, tongue, jaw, thyroid, and oropharynx. Our physician teams are nationally recognized as innovators in Neuro Care and Head and Neck Surgical Oncology. Responsible for assisting the professional caregiver in the delivery of patient care, transporting patient and/or equipment, setting up and maintaining patient rooms and performing a wide range of clerical, transcription, and maintenance of the patient care unit desk area functions.
