Clinical Support Specialist (Remote - CDCES)

A DAY IN THE LIFE: The Clinical Support Specialist (CL SS) provides product education, training, and support primarily via phone or video. Responsibilities include handling escalated technical/clinical support, documenting interactions, and promoting best practices in diabetes care. The role involves responding to inbound support requests, conducting remote pump training, virtual educational classes, and possibly traveling to support clinical education in various U.S. locations.

  • Respond promptly to clinical support needs transferred from Customer Technical Support (CTS).
  • Conduct scheduled video pump training sessions.
  • Use video tools (Teams, Zoom) to assess and resolve customer issues.
  • Provide education and training using approved materials and guidelines.
  • Document customer interactions thoroughly in CRM.
  • Coordinate with field teams and identify safety issues.
  • Act as a customer advocate.
  • Travel as needed to provide interim clinical education and support in various territories.

YOU’RE AWESOME AT:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in diabetes self-management and related equipment.
  • Effective in coaching and resolving product issues.
  • Skilled in presenting educational content via phone/video.
  • Adaptable and calm in changing situations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CRM software.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA preferred.

EXTRA AWESOME:

  • RN, RD, RPh, or equivalent experience.
  • Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) or eligible.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Starting at $72,000 - $90,100 annually, with bonuses and benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and 401k. Compensation varies based on experience and location.
