Job summary

Naropa University is seeking a Clinical Support Professional (CSP) for the Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling program to support faculty and enhance the student experience in an in-person course from August 24 to December 11, 2026. The role is a 3-credit course with a stipend of $225 per credit hour and an 8% FTE allocation (approximately 3 hours per week).

• Not currently enrolled as Naropa student.
• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Understanding of Program specific info.
• Commitment to JEDI professional development regarding privilege and oppression.
• Understanding of dynamics of privilege and oppression and impact on equity and opportunity.
• Appreciation for Naropa University values and capacity to demonstrate them in work and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Attend class and class meetings.
• Facilitate limited in-class small group work related to clinical objectives.
• Monitor and assist in instruction of course content within program goals.
• Provide CANVAS, Zoom, and email communications support.
• Complete required trainings within timeframes set by HR/Academic Affairs/IT.
• Other duties as assigned related to this course.
• Confer with course instructor regarding students’ learning as evidenced by participation and assignments.
• Track group dynamics of the class and report to faculty of record.
